Hello! I’m Erin Loechner, a writer/stylist/impromptu designer who recently entered the world of motherhood with the birth of her daughter, Bee. Please send advice (and cake!).

Design for MiniKind is a kid-friendly spin-off of my award-winning site, Design for Mankind, where I collect inspiring ideas and projects from around the globe – or my own backyard. Here, you’ll find that same inspiration, only pint-sized for the littles in your life.  With every post, I’m inching closer to my ultimate goal: To live an inspired, creative and meaningful life with my family.

*In 2012, Megan Peters joined Design for MiniKind as a research editor. Megan has a great life, one she tends to enjoy sharing with all of her very close personal friends on the Internet. Her personal lifestyle blog, Crazybananas, has been around since 2004 and is where she talks about her favorite things and shares stories/bad advice on being a working mom. Megan is “Mama” to a six-year-old who believes fairies are real (of course they are!) and a two-year-old who believes he is a dinosaur (the jury is still out). Not a designer by trade, Megan’s foray in to motherhood led to her love of all things simple, beautiful and functional, and her intense hatred for all things plastic, made in China and loud. Megan is based in Kansas City and spends her free time pursuing her love of photography, art and all around happiness.
