Neverness to Everness Adds Two Playable Characters in November 11 Patch

Perfect World Games and Hotta Studio will release version 1.5 of their free-to-play urban fantasy action RPG Neverness to Everness on November 11. The update, titled "Once Upon a Glitched Call," introduces a new main story episode, two new playable characters, and a fresh anomalous realm, alongside a round of technical upgrades for mobile and PC players.

New Story Content and Characters

The centerpiece of the update is a new main episode called "Meet Me in the Data Stream," paired with a new anomalous realm themed around an "Invalid Number" system glitch, which matches the update's subtitle. Two new characters, Elyms and Exe, join the roster with their own limited gacha boards, outfits, and character-specific interaction content. According to the publisher, all limited boards running concurrently share the same S-class pity counter and Points Gift progress, though cosmetic Skin Perks progress is tracked separately per board unless boards share a name, a detail that affects how players plan their resource spending across the patch's multiple banners.

Events, Rewards, and Redeemable Codes

Several time-limited events accompany the launch, including "City Logistics," "Full Tank Ahead" (which debuts a new tank vehicle called the Iron Ogre), and "Hunter's Crucible," running from November 11 through late December on staggered schedules. A "Fortune's Bounty" progression track lets players earn in-game currency through quests to unlock milestone rewards, including crafting materials, cosmetic items, and an open-world interactable called the Pop-Up Divination House. Three redeem codes - INVALIDNUMBER, HIOLDFRIEND, and EXENORESPONSE - are valid through November 1, giving returning or new players a narrow window to claim bonus items before the patch goes live.

Technical and Quality-of-Life Updates

Beyond new content, the patch adds rendering support for Qualcomm's Snapdragon ANF feature on mobile devices and compatibility with Nvidia's RTX Spark hardware on PC, suggesting an emphasis on visual fidelity and performance scaling across device tiers. Quality-of-life changes include quick-buy functionality for furniture blueprints, an "Upgrade Target" tool to help players stockpile materials ahead of future character releases, overflow storage for capped resources like City Stamina, and an auto-drive free-roam mode for exploring the game's city setting without a set destination.

Availability

Neverness to Everness is currently available on PlayStation 5, PC (via client download, Steam, and Epic Games Store), iOS, and Android. The publisher has also released a version 1.5 preview program in English, Japanese, and Korean ahead of the November 11 launch.
